Meet Our Physicians
Hector Guerra, MD
Hector Guerra, MD received his medical degree from Santo Domingo, Republica Domincana in 2004. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Damas Hospital/Ponce School of Medicine, Puerto Rico. He graduated from the Geriatric Fellowship Program through the Veterans Administration Sytem.
He is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospice and Palliative Care; and has been practicing medicine since 2005; in the San Antonio are since 2012. He has won many awards and accolades for his research intended to identify the biological and clinical variants characterizing patients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Sara Lopez, MD
Sara Lopez, MD received her medical degree from San Juan Bautista School of Medicine, Caguas Puerto Rico in 2009. She completed her internal medicine internship and residency to include research studies at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas, Puerto Rico.
She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing medicine since 2009; in the San Antonio are since 2013. Dr. Lopez really enjoys practicing medicine in the long term care setting and is able to bond with her patients to positively affect their health outcomes.
